Our 5th grade students are investigating the structures of the heart as well as the pathway of blood through the heart as part of their classroom Science unit on the Circulatory System and in preparation for their upcoming sheep heart dissection lab. They sang the “Heart Song,” studied heart models, and labeled large heart diagrams to use as study aides.
