Concentration and Saturation

Today our FPD 5th graders were back in the lab experimenting with saturation and concentration.  These are the vocabulary words we studied:

SOLUTE—the solid that is dissolved in a solution 

SOLVENT—the liquid that dissolves other substances 

SATURATION—when nothing else can be absorbed 

CONCENTRATION—the amount of a solute in a solution
