3rd Grade Learns about Soil Pollution

This week in Science Lab, our 3rd grade scientists learned how soil pollution and water pollution go hand in hand.  We discussed ways to take care of the beautiful earth that God created.  

Why are these faces so sad?  We just completed our pollution experiment and realized the impact that pollutants have on the watershed!

5th Graders Explore the Physics of Sound

Ever wonder exactly how our ears work so well?  This week our FPD 5th graders learned all about the physics of sound!

1st Grade STEAMwork TEAMwork

Today our FPD first grade scientists learned about great STEAMwork TEAMwork by completing a STEAM raft building challenge during Science Lab time.  In a few weeks, students will test their boats to see if they can float and if they can float holding pennies as "passengers."
