Garden Days!

Our FPD elementary students have been busy in the garden since school started back.  They've weeded, made nature self-portraits, and on Friday, 8/23, participated in the Great Georgia Pollinator Census.  We are so thankful for the learning opportunities our garden provides!!! 

Thank you, first graders, for helping us count our bees and butterflies!!!

3rd--Soil Science!

This week it was time for some 3rd grade Soil Science!  Students looked at various types and components of soil through magnifying glasses and then made Soil Separation Tubes to observe and record their findings over the coming weeks.

Welcome Back!

We are so excited to be back to school for another GREAT year at FPD!  This week in elementary Science Lab our 5th graders began their unit on Light and Sound with a fun sound discrimination game called "Dropping In!"
