1st Grade: Easter Egg Tower STEAM Lab
Our 1st grade students worked as engineers today to build Easter Egg STEAM towers in Science Lab. Students worked in pairs to plan and build their towers, evaluated their construction, and proposed ideas to improve their design. Learning from the Leaning Tower of Pisa, students discussed the importance of a firm foundation for building, just as Christ is the Rock upon which our Christian faith is built.

First Grade: Seeds!
Our 1st grade students learned all about seeds and what they need to grow today. They labeled the parts of the seed, explored the parts using northern beans, and then made a Lima bean seed bag to observe plant growth over the next few weeks.
