4th grade recently completed a Crayon Rock Cycle Lab. Students shaved crayons to represent weathering and erosion, then deposited their “sediments” and added pressure to create a Sedimentary “Rock”. More pressure was added to form a Metamorphic “Rock.” Finally, their rock was melted and then cooled to form an Igneous “Rock.”

5th: Egg Drop STEAM lab
Our 5th graders worked as elves today to design, construct, and test an “Egg Transport System” to deliver Santa’s most delicate packages in today’s Egg Drop S.T.E.A.M Lab.
