Our 2nd grade lab this week on constellations tied in perfectly to the book they have been reading in class--Follow the Drinking Gourd! Students used their STEM skills to build their own constellation formations using toothpicks and marshmallows!

4th Graders Build Circuits and Study Magnetism
In today's 2-part lab, our FPD 4th graders learned about magnetism, electricity, and electromagnetism. Students tested magnets on a variety of surfaces and then built complete circuits to power both a light bulb and a motor!
