4th Grade Borax Crystals
Today in Science Lab, fourth grade students created their "starter kits" for making Borax crystal ornaments. They are bringing these home today.
The slides that we went over in class were so helpful that we thought we would share them with you on the blog as well. We can't wait to see all of the Borax crystal ornaments on 12/6!!!

They then designed tissue paper Christmas trees using a wax resist technique. These sweet kindergartners definitely have the Christmas spirit!
Soda Solutions
Our FPD 5th graders have been studying Mixtures and Solutions over the past few weeks. Today we learned more about concentration and dilution by doing a soda taste-test--what a YUMMY way to learn!
